Is language as a part of somatic experience?

Interrogate words and the use of them. ‘Language’ is not a fixed entity, nor is it singular. Communication / translation / interpretation are ongoing, shifting, living processes. Words are an element in an extraordinary network; they need to be regarded as part of our somatic make-up and treated with the same care.

Language and the body – what does ‘back’ mean to someone or ‘feet’? The meaning will affect their self-image and use. Less is more, perhaps…

Does it always have to be words? e.g. picture, movement…
